Junior Golf Academy in Surrey
At Surrey Junior Golf, we believe every child should have the opportunity to discover and enjoy the game of golf in a fun, welcoming and supportive environment.
Based at The Drift Golf Club, our academy offers a clear pathway for young golfers to learn, develop and progress through structured coaching programmes, including after-school sessions, holiday golf camps and individual coaching with PGA Head Professional Phil Robson.
After School Sessions (Ages 7+)

Our weekly after-school sessions are the perfect way for children to develop their golf in a relaxed, enjoyable and structured environment. Delivered at The Drift Golf Club, each session combines expert coaching with fun challenges and games to keep young golfers engaged and motivated.
With a maximum of ten players per coach, every child benefits from individual guidance while enjoying the friendships and encouragement that come from learning as part of a small group.
Whether they are picking up a golf club for the first time or looking to take their game to the next level, our after-school programme provides a clear pathway for young golfers to grow in confidence and continue developing their skills.
Junior Golf Camps (Ages 7+)

Our Junior Golf Camps offer fun-filled days where children can develop their golf, make new friends and enjoy a wide variety of exciting coaching activities in a safe and welcoming environment.
Throughout the day, young golfers take part in structured coaching covering every area of the game, including full swing, putting, chipping, bunker play, on-course challenges, rules and etiquette. Sessions are designed to keep children active, engaged and learning through a combination of coaching, games and friendly competitions.
Whether attending for the first time or returning each school holiday, our camps provide the perfect opportunity for children to improve their skills, build confidence and enjoy everything that golf has to offer.
Parent Testimonial
“Phil makes every session fun and engaging while ensuring Jax develops a strong understanding of the game and its fundamentals. Since joining Surrey Junior Golf, his confidence has grown enormously, and we’ve seen a real improvement in both his technique and his enjoyment of golf.
As Jax says, ‘My golf has improved with Phil’s help, and I really enjoy my lessons at The Drift, especially getting out on the course and playing a few holes.'”
– Parent of Jax

“I’ve really enjoyed my lessons with Phil and have seen a big improvement in my swing and iron play since I started coaching. I especially enjoy getting out on the course during some of my lessons, as it helps me put everything I’ve learned into practice. There’s always something new to learn in golf, and I genuinely look forward to every session.”
